How look should I do the Cauliflower for?

About 10 minutes in boiling water. You don't want it too soggy. Use a mixture of cheddar and mozzerella to get it nice and stringy.

Steamer - about 15 minutes.

Pan of boiling water - about the same.

You want it still a bit al dente so that when you pour over your sauce then pop it into the oven, it needs another five to ten minutes to brown off and continue to cook the cauli!

BROCCOLI OR CAULIFLOWER AND CHEESE.
1 pkg. frozen cauliflower or broccoli, or fresh.
1 can cream of mushroom soup, or some other soup.
1/4 c. grated sharp cheese

Cook the broccoli or cauliflower according to the directions on the package. Place in lightly greased casserole. Pour over mixture of cheese and soup. Bake in 180C (350F) degree oven for 15 minutes or until cheese has melted.

I assume you mean Cauliflower w/ a Cheese Sauce?

Steam cauli florets probably about 8 min, until tender but not mush.

To make cheese sauce, first make a white sauce, then add about 3/4 -1 cups of shredded cheddar or colby cheese to the white sauce, whisking to melt. Remove from heat, pour over cooked cauli.

Basic White Sauce

2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup milk

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add flour and stir until the butter and flour are well combined. Pour in milk, stirring constantly as it thickens. Add more or less milk depending on desired consistency.

steam it for about 10-15 mins, or it will be cauliflower mush. Cover with chhese sauce, sprinkle loads grated cheese on and pop in hot oven for 5 mins.

If you steam it in the microwave only takes about six minutes!

I do it like Sugar pie above.
You can add herbs if you like or seasoning like celery salt or a tiny bit of garlic powder or mustard.
It all depends on your taste.
All purpose flour is what we call plain.

Use fresh cauli as frozen seems to go mushy.
