What can i make with 2 t-bones?!

Question: I'm a big fan of a nice baked potato & sour cream with steaks.

I like to grill the steaks just salt and pepper and just before the final turn brush them with melted butter.

I'd also throw in some nice sauteed string beans or some steamed broccoli to add an additional veggie to the dish plus it gives it some nice color.

A little garden salad to start things off and you are good to go

Now i'm starvin'

steak egg and chips with mushrooms yum yum nice

Either Broil them or Grill them....

Baked Potato with Sour Cream...

Simple salad...lettuce, tomato, onion.....

We use the stove top as per the following:

Three Easy Steps To Stove-Top Skillet Cooking
(Pan-Broiling, Sautéing)

Heat heavy nonstick skillet over medium heat for 5 minutes. Do not add oil or water; do not cover.

Season beef straight from the refrigerator with herbs or spices, as desired. Not salt.

Place in preheated skillet. Do not overcrowd. Do not add oil or water; do not cover.

Cook 4 minutes each side for rare
More for medium or well-done

After cooking, season beef with salt, if desired.

Baked potato and a tossed salad would go well with steaks. Or a vegetable.

could make me very full and happy

grill them with salt and pepper for seasoning, and for sides make potatoes (use red potatoes, cube them, put them in a microwaveable dish covered in wax paper, and microwave for 10 minutes...add seasonings and butter and microwave for 10 more minutes...yummy) then a salad for the side as well. Very tasty dinner!

Sear each side in a hot pan or griddle for a minute each side,
Smear with a little mustard pile high with blue berries, cranberries, raspberries (frozen , canned or fresh) or if not available a big spoon of really good fruit jam (Conserve or Extra-jam) Then push together some flour, salt, dash of oil and cold water,...knead with your hand, too stick? add extra flour...when you've got a ball of dough, flatten out with your hands or rolling pin and wrap the steak plus fruit completely in dough. Into that ready hot oven and give it until the dough is brown...20,25 minutes perhaps.

Usually 2 filet mignon and 2 new york strip.

One side of the bone is filet the other is new york sirloin.

Put any spices on you want but cook hot, fast and dry. Just don't cook slow or low or wet- save that for the cheap cuts.

25 minutes to cook t-bone sorry I don't want it no matter what you put on it.

Season with a little salt and pepper or a nice steak seasoning such as Montreal Steak Seasoning. Fry, bar-b-q or broil to desired temp. Top with sauteed mushrooms, and onions. Or even a flavored butter. Serve with your choice of potates and veggie.

Flavored butters:

Garlic Cilantro:
1 stick butter softened to room temp
1 or 2 cloves garlic
Approx 1/4 bunch of cilintro

Place cilantro and garlic in a food processor, add the butter. Or you can mince everything super small and mix with the butter by hand. The processor just helps the butter end up a little more "whipped" and airy.

Blue Cheese and Black Pepper:

1 stick butter at room temp
1/8 cup blue cheese crumbles
1 tsp black pepper

Mix in the same way(s) as above just remember that with the blue cheese, if you want bigger chunks in the butter then mix my hand.

To store the butters keep either in a plastic airtight container in the fridge. Or place on waxed paper, and roll into a "log", remove from freezer and let it set for just a few minutes and slice. Or if you are having guests coming ov and you want to impress them you could even put the butter into mint type mold and freeze or let set in the fridge then pop them out.

Make your favorite salad and salad dressing, baked potatoes with butter, sour cream, bacon and cheese and some steamed veggies to go with your T-Bones. That would make a lovely dinner.
