What dip goes best with artichokes?!

Question: I'm not looking for a dip with artichokes in them just something to dip them in rather than just butter.

Mayonnaise!!! (Best foods, of course)

It's the best! You can even mix roasted garlic in with it and oooo so good. Claim Jumper does that, and its awesome.

I've never eaten butter on my artichoke.. always mayo and we eat them a LOT.

and cheese sauce mmm so good! dang now I need to get some to eat ;)

Oh it's so rare that I have them and I adore them! I prefer them hot with roasted garlic and butter for dipping, but if cold maybe some mayo? I personally don't like mayo.

try mixing a cup of mayo, and a tablespoon of white dry wine, not sweet, and add a couple drops of lemon, it will give that old mayonnaise the punch it needs to kick up the arty's if it's too runny just add more mayo. good luck.

Yeah here what u has to do?
It's a nice and it taste yummy with artichoke
u need one lemon and two small piece of garlic and salt u squeeze the lemon and add salt to it then u smash the garlic and add it to the lemon and salt and mix them well with a spoon.
That's it hope u will like it its nice with artichoke
Note: the ingredients amount depend ion how much the quantity u r going to eat artichoke and don't add to much salt or garlic so make it lets say one lemon salt as much as u like it salty or not and garlic half piece not the whole half of the garlic
enjoy :)

vinaigrette sauce. olive oil, lemon juice, a little dry mustard, add capers, chopped pickles, parsley, chervil and chives. how about a hollandaise sauce if you want to get fancy.

hallandaise, I use the powdered mix and it;s pretty okay.

1. Just plain balsamic vinegar -- but use high quality stuff. A little goes a long way.

2. Mix 1 tsp curry powder into 1/2 cup mayo or 1/2 cup yoghurt (or a mixture of the two). Let stand for about an hour for the mixture to marry and bloom. Taste and adjust amount of curry powder or yog/mayo.

dip it in hommous or an aioli

8 oz artichoke hearts
8 oz fresh grated parmesan cheese (not Kraft)
8 oz whipped cream cheese
8 oz mayonnaise
2 tbsp Hungarian paprika (sweet variety)
Mix in large bowl. I don't recommend blending this in a food processor, as artichoke heart leaves are best in larger pieces.

Spread in baking pan, up to 3" deep.

Bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes, or until bubbling with brown edges.

Cool and serve with sliced baguette, carrots and celery, or crackers.

This best artichoke dip is delicious as is, but a few add-ins I've had luck with in the past are:

Roasted red peppers (no more than 4 or 5 oz, or else the dip gets a bit bloody-looking)
Crab meat
Roasted eggplant, cut thin
Hot chili flakes, to taste
Sour cream, 8 oz (replacing the mayo)
This great dip is, clearly, not for low-fat dieters. I've tried fiddling with the recipe by using fat-free cream cheese and low-fat mayonnaise, but it absolutely doesn't cook right, or taste nearly as good.

Your party guests will love this, and will ask you to make it again and again. Only you need to know how truly fattening it is - after all, it's a party. Let your guests enjoy themselves guilt-free. And have a great time!
