Cooking Baby Back's in a Crock Pot, is like Burping in Church, you should never do it, it is just plain wrong. Instead, if you don't have time to grill them, rub the Ribs with your favorite spices, put them in a deep pan, and put them, in the oven at 350 covered, for about three hours, uncover them, and enough water to cover the bottom, put back in oven uncovered, for about another or so, and they will off the bone tender.

My husband makes the best ribs, the key is slow long cooking. He just throws the ribs in the crock pot the night before. smothers them with our favorite bbq sauce and lets them cook on high about eight hours then turn them down to low for another 8 or 9 hours. Yummy and melt in your mouth tender.

Take the ribs and cut them so they fit in the crock pot.
If you like a spice rub for the ribs, rub them down.
If not, add about a 1/2 cup to a cup of water and some salt and pepper. Cook either on high heat for 5 hrs or low heat for 8 to 10 hrs. When there is like 1 hour left add the sauce of choice.
You could even put the sauce in @ 30 minutes left. They come out so tender!! Melt in your mouth!!

if you have a pan big enough for them to stand up on edge in , i suggest you do them in the oven .
