What is on the chicken?!
Answers: when i cook chicken either on teh grill on in the pan what is the little white liquid that starts coming out of it and drips
That "white liquid" is actually blood protein.
What happens is that when proteins are exposed to heat they "denature" which simply means they lose their molecular shape and clump together. This is what happens when you boil an egg, for example.
The same happens with all meats, even steak. However, the color will be brown in steak due to higher iron content.
If it's the white foamy stuff you're talking about, I haven't a clue. If it's more like a clear liquid, it's the natural juices from the chicken.
just the natural chicken juices.
.
Juices/oil from the chickens.
Chicken oils but most likely preservetives too
It's just like when you cook beef, it's the natural juices running out, it's okay and when they run clear then you know that the chicken is done.
