Saute some garlic and onion, add beans and about a half can of canned tomatoes, simmer.

I heat them up with a very little amount of water and put them on a plate with Old ElPaso Enchilada Sauce, cheddar cheese, shredded lettuce and Choloula Hot Sauce

If you have any left over bacon grease...add 1/2 tsp to can of beans in pot...let it get hot( slight bubble)....stir....put lid on and turn off heat or turn it down to low.

I always add a can of pinto beans when I make chili. Since you don't like beans it might be more palatable to you this way.

Beans and Cornbread: Simple, Hearty, Healthy, and Goooooood

Bacon or diced ham, Tabasco, garlic, even a little vinegar or chopped jalapenos. or you can buy Pinto Bean Seasoning. Bascially, it’s salt, pepper, chili powder, and some other mystery spices.

Add with that as a side dish grated cheese, chopped onions, fresh jalapenos, sour cream and/or cilantro

Don't forget ya corn bread! See site below

fry some chorizo with diced onions and add the beans. serve with fried taters

We like ours soft, so we cook them on low until they are soft. Salt if not salty enough and maybe some pepper.
