Chocolate mousse

Go buy a new york style cheesecake, lemon sorbet and fresh cranberries. Boil the cranberries in water and sugar, the bag usually tells you how. Let that chill and top your cheesecake with the sorbet and sauce. Serve in pretty black dishes and it looks beautiful. So yummy too.
make up some meringue disks, make about 3 flat round ones, depending on serving size, ect. puree some seasonal fruit (mangos are lush) and whip some cream then stack the cream and meringue disks and pour over the pureed fruit
Another easy one is if you have puff pastry, fill some with some jam of your choice or even tinned fruit like apples, etc, and seal up, like a little parcel, cook in the oven until brown (put milk on the pastry before you put it in the oven to get a nice golden brown look) and then serve hot with vanilla ice cream or cream
