Can you cook ribs the day before you plan to serve them?!

Question: I would like to slow-cook some ribs in the oven Saturday so on Sunday I just have to glaze them on the grill.
Will this dry out the ribs?
Any pointers?

yes, cook them in advance, and wrap them in a layer of plastic wrap, then foil....

when you plan to cook them, the key is SLOWLY bringing them back to temp....do not put them on a blazing hot fire or they will dry out...

put them on a 275-325 grill, and baste them with apple juice to keep them moist....

once they are up to temp, you can turn up the grill to 350-375 and baste them with your favorite bbq sauce.

absolutely, I like to plan ahead also, when they are 1/2 cooled, individually wrap the slabs in plastic wrap and the moisture will stay in them.

This works very well. I do it often. Cover with foil and refrigerate. Bring to room temperature before you put them on the gril

It would probably better absorb the flavour and taste even better the next day. I would ensure there is some gravy to keep the ribs moist, if it doesn't cover the ribs just turn over the ribs after some hours.

Yes we do it regular. I usually put mine into a dish and wrap them in cling film after about 15 minutes.

You can cook ribs, up to a week, before, as long as you keep them bellow 40 degree's. When you re-heat them, let the get the chill off, before you put them on the grill. It will take maybe, 20 minutes, total, on the grill.

Yes you can cook them3 or 4 days ahead when you have time . Just cool them then cove with plastic wrap or foil I do both to keep them air tight . Just set them out of the frig around 1/2 hour before you get ready to grill them
