Best way to cook a deer ham?!

Question: Well, having eaten venison my whole life, and never having heard the term 'deer ham', I would say that you are probably talking about a roast...and I would slow cook it in the oven (on 325 for 5-6 hours approx) and then serve it with mash potatoes, gravy, corn and rolls.

P.S. a ham comes from a pig. just thought you might want to know.
