What do you think of this article? Do you think of your food the same way?!

I don't understand the three answers above. Seems like a bury your head in the sand approach. I'm sure they would want to know if their food was genetically modified (which is far less of an issue than animal abuse). You are obviously not forcing anyone to stop eating meat or dairy products, but you are spreading some awareness about what happens in the food industry. That is TOTALLY relevant to this forum. I support anyone else who wants to post such topics here.
I really don't understand people who try to delink meat and animals. They are the same thing, whether you like it or not.
To Marlo, why would anyone need a warning? If someone is uncomfortable with such news, then there's just that much more reason for them to see it. Denial does not help anyone.
Why is this being posted under "cooking & recipes" ? Inappropriate. I have no desire to read that type of article when I am relaxing and helping people with recipes.
It's interesting propoganda, as they all are. Not sure by what you mean by the second part to your question - do you mean after reading it, do I feel the same way? If so, then sure.
We are strong supporters of PETA (People Eating Tasty Animals).
I agree with Michele, this isn't posted in the correct section. It seems to me that your only reason for posting this with the article was to provoke others in some way, not to gain information from others. Possibly you can post this type of thing in another section that would be more appropriate, and give a warning as to the specific topic of the article.
LOL......anger? Have you a mirror? I suggest you look in it.
That is sad, its one thing to consume an animal, but to abuse it, thats down right cruel. Hopefully some day they can prosecute like they did with Michael Vick! Some people have no compassion, very sad!
