Is it a health risk to cook in coated (ie. teflon or other ) aluminum or any other type of pots and pans ?!

No. It's a great health risk to eat raw meat and not cook it at all.

If the pots are chipped, there is a possibility that more will be chipped away and contaminate the food. I doubt there would be any serious heath risks though.

Teflon has been suspected of causing health problems.
Aluminum is fine to cook in, but never to store food in.

I stick to stainless steel and cast iron pots and pans for cooking. I store food in plastic or glass containers.
