chips(fries) ,salad,rice salad, fried rice.

How about mashed potatoes and green peas or
french fries and cole slaw

Fish and grits, a southern favorite or chips if you want to leave the US completely

Rice pilaf and/or steamed veggies.

Brown rice and some cole slaw.

Rice and fish goes beautifully together,
also sprinkle a little lemon on the fish or drizle it with a mjummy warm mustard sauce.
serve it with an easy Caesar salad.

Cole slaw ... some kind of rice dish ... some steamed veggies?

I like adding lemon and lime to the fish. I think a potato dish is cool..

Italian pasta salad or one of the suddenly salad pastas, homeade french fries or oven roasted potatoes would be good too. (think fish and chips)

I would also do a vegeatable, either a mix or something green.

Steamed white rice tossed with chopped cilantro, juice of one lime a drizzle of olive oil. Toss and you got something yummy.

Traditionally the following go well with fish:

1. White/Brown/Wild Rice
2. Lemon
3. Tartar Sauce
4. Batarde Sauce
5. Aioli
6. Piquant Tomato Gravy and Garlic Bread

You'll want to use the above in combination, depending on the kind of meal you're planning.

Hope this helps.

I suggest maybe a cheese rice, but honestly for me I like wild rice and asparagus

cole slaw, corn bread, french fries, corn on the cob, fruit salad, greens, broccoli, baked potato, salad.

French fries, cole slaw, potato salad, hash browns, garlic bread, baked potato, tater tots, rice

dirty rice and a salad
Sweet corn-on-the-cob
slice orange or yellow bell peppers
boil red potatoes in garlic and water

There are a lot of ways to make rice that goes well with fish: replace water with broth, add fresh herbs. Make plain white rice but add a teaspoon of curry powder for each cup of rice cooked for a tasty treat.
Make tiny shell pasta and dress with good extra virgin olive oil, dust with dried crushed parsley and Italian seasoning. Stir in some grated Parmesan cheese.
Break up 1/4 pound vermicelli for each cup rice, fry in a little butter, then add some onion and thewhite rice. Stir in enough stock (beef, chicken, fish, or vegetable) to cook the rice (for one cup rice you'll need two cups stock). Bring to a boil, and cook 20 minutes covered on low. Fluff before serving. If you use brown rice, cook for 45 minutes.

you can try this recipe...

~ Baked Tilapia in Garlic and Olive Oil~

"Baked tilapia, marinated in garlic and olive oil. If you prefer to grill, get your grill hot and put the fish on aluminum foil; grill until desired doneness is reached. "

INGREDIENTS

* 4 (4 ounce) fillets tilapia
* 4 cloves crushed garlic
* 3 tablespoons olive oil
* 1 onion, chopped
* 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

DIRECTIONS

1. Rub the fish fillets with the crushed garlic, then place them in a shallow, non-reactive dish. Spoon the olive oil over the fish until they are coated. Place the onion on top of the fish. Cover the fish and refrigerate overnight to allow the fish to soak in the marinade.
2. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
3. If baking the fish, transfer it to a 9x13 inch baking dish along with the olive oil, garlic, and onion. Sprinkle the fish with the cayenne or white pepper. If you are grilling the fish, wrap the fish and oil, garlic, onion, and pepper in aluminum foil.
4. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees F) for 30 minutes.

Good luck!
