Pancakes Help!?!

Question: Okay I occasionally try to make pancakes (when I have time). But they always taste like batter. I use the Pioneer butermilk mix, the box tells me to add mix, egg, milk, and vegetable oil but I use olive oil (I like it). My first pancake turns out fine but the others don't. lol. Any tips?

First of all olive oil is too heavy for pancake batter. For health's choice try canola oil. Second, you must have a high enough heat to cook them through, but not too high to burn them. And, flip them and let them rise good!

Didn't I answer this yesterday?!?!?!

Pancake batter stiffens up as it sits. So add a bit extra milk to the batter after you've made your first couple of pancakes so the batter is thin enough to cook in the center properly.

I agree with the first answer.

You might want to use a blender to blend the ingredients as well.

maybe you didn't cook it good enough.
