How do you make a pie?!

Question: i dont know how DX

Answers: i dont know how DX

Go to the store and buy a pre made one!

my advice, go to a bakery, or H-E-B

Use a recipe

Step 1.
Blend together all the dry ingredients with a pastry blender.

Step 2.
Add water and stir together to make a ball of dough.

Step 3.
Roll on a floured surface

Step 4.
Fold in half and lay evenly over the pie plate.

Step 5.
Using a knife, trim the edge around the entire rim of the plate.

I have a couple of suggestions:
Buy a pre-made crust in the freezer section of your grocery store, buy two cans of your choice of pie filling. Use a fork to poke several holes in the bottom and sides of the pie crust. Pour in the filling and bake until the crust is brown. For a cream pie, bake the crust until brown, let cool, then pour in your favorite flavor of pudding, top with whip cream and refrigerate. (Please pre-make the pudding before putting it in the crust :) ) You can garnish with whatever is appropriate to the pie: crushed oreos for chocolate, shredded coconut for coconut or banana. These are the easiest ways I know for a beginner. If you are looking for something more in depth, go to www.allrecipes.com

It depends on the type of pie you want to make.....

Pie Definition:
A sweet or savory baked good made with a crust and filling. Pies can have a single or a double crust

Types
Savory pies include potpies and quiches of all types. Sweet dessert pies also are popular. Here are the common types of dessert pies.

Chiffon: A single-crust pie with a fluffy filling that is made with dissolved gelatin, stiffly beaten egg whites, flavoring, and sometimes whipped cream. The filling is moderately sweet with an airy texture. Either a pastry piecrust or a crumb crust commonly is used. Because chiffon pies include uncooked egg whites, eating them may be harmful to some people due to possible bacterial contamination.

Cream: A single-crust pie with a sweet, rich, pudding-like filling that has a smooth, creamy texture. Either a pastry piecrust or a crumb crust commonly is used. Cream pie is usually topped with meringue, but whipped cream or fresh fruit also can be used.

Custard: A single-crust pie with a sweet, rich filling made from eggs and milk. Custard pie has a smooth texture that's firmer than cream pie filling. Pastry most often is used for the crust. Custard pie sometimes is topped with whipped cream. Pumpkin and pecan pies are types of custard pies.

Frozen: A single-crust pie made with an ice cream or a chiffon-type filling and either a pastry or a crumb crust. Sometimes a whipped-cream topping is added.

Fruit: A double- or single-crust pie with a fresh, canned, frozen, or dried fruit filling. For a double-crust fruit pie, the crust is made from pastry with a solid or lattice top. For a single-crust pie, either a pastry or a crumb crust can be used.

Since ready made pie crust are so available and cheap it really is worth the time or money to make one. Also with pudding mixes and fruit fillings being available it's almost not worth cooking from scratch.
