Interesting grilled cheese sandwiches? looking for new recipe!!?!

Question: I like putting some tomatoes in the microwave until they are nearly done. Then I grate some mild cooking cheese in our crumbly cheshire cheese and mix it all together. Then I put it back in the microwave for a minute. Then I add a chopped spring onion into it and spread it on my toast. Then I put black pepper on and eat it with brown sauce. Yummy.

I like doing it with provalone and other types of cheese. Also, put some tomato on it...MONEY!

I'm hungry now. please send me a grilled cheese sandwich!

If you like deli meat, any kind is good in a grilled cheese, it makes it kind of like a Panini. I'm partial to salami, or turkey and bacon. I also like bacon and tomato in them. Enjoy!

use a mozzerella instead and add tomato and basil..thats sooooo good!!! Or you can add mayo to the grilled cheese...that gives it a lil something extra!

This is how our Jr Hi use to make them in the 60s and love them still today. Butter each outer piece of bread. Slap velveeta on to cover one slice, they used about 1/4 inch. Layer dill pickle slices on the other piece of bread and stick um together. Grill....oh those were the days. The pickles just melded into the cheese and it was so good.

You can use different types of cheeses. If I'm out of butter, I'll spread some mayo on the side of the bread that gets toasted and its oh so good!

I like to put a couple of tablespoons of spaghetti sauce, a sprinkle of oregano, then real cheddar cheese, for grilled pizza wiches. They're yummy! You can also add a thin slice of ham.

I like using a combination of Provolone and Mozzarella cheese with hard salami and/or ham or Swiss cheese and turkey to make my grilled cheese sandwiches. My partner likes to add sliced tomato to his grilled cheese. Bacon is also good on the sandwiches. I like to experiment using different types of cheeses.

Try spreading (lightly) mayonnaise on your bread to grill it instead of butter. Put mayonnaise side out. on the dry side of bread, put grated cheddar cheese, crumble a slice of crisply fried bacon, and thinly sliced tomatoe. Add more cheese on top of the tomatoe so that the bacon and tomatoe are between the cheese. Grill over a low flame so that the cheese will melt and the bread toast. Grill until bread is golden brown on both sides. Enjoy! PS. you can also try adding a little bit of thinly chopped green onions or chives.

I like to use smoked gouda and thin-sliced turkey. Whatever cheese you use, it actually melts better if you grate it rather than using sliced cheese.

Put some chili powder on it! makes it spiceh!

I often eat ghetto grilled cheese...

Cheese and onion
Cheese and pickle slices
Cheese and tuna...

try using muenster and swiss cheese together instead of american cheese.
it is soo good

Mozzarella in a Carriage: Mozzarella In Carozza

2 pounds fresh buffalo mozzarella, cut into 4 (3 by 4-inch) slices
8 slices American-style sandwich bread, crusts removed
4 eggs
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme leaves
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon plus 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon plus 3 tablespoons sweet butter

Divide the 4 pieces of mozzarella on 4 slices of bread. Cover with the 4 remaining slices of bread to form sandwiches. Cut the bread away to leave a 1/4-inch border around the perimeter of the cheese and set aside.

In a wide, shallow bowl, whisk the eggs and add the milk, thyme leaves and salt and mix until well blended. Dip the sandwiches into the egg mixture 1 by 1 to coat, and set aside.

In a 12 to 14-inch nonstick saute pan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil until smoking. Add 1 tablespoon of butter and cook until the sizzling subsides. Place 2 sandwiches in the pan and cook until golden brown on the first side. Flip each sandwich and cook on the other side. Remove sandwiches and set aside. Repeat the process with the remaining oil, butter and sandwiches.

You can make a melt with it, either bbq and cheese or, even make it in to a tuna melt. My favorit is the BBQ and cheese

Mozarella, pesto, and tomato. Use a good whole-grain bread.

try making your grilled cheese with texas toast, make as usual but add tomato slices, bacon, double the cheese! its great
