My dad made DELICIOUS looking lasagna...and im tempted to eat it but..?!
Answers: i'm trying to loose weight!!!!what should i do??
Moderation.
As long as you don't eat too much, it's completely fine.
Cut a small peice & have yourself a chef salad & a half a peice of toasted/buttered bread on the side with a glass of icey water.
It will be DELICIOUS, healthy, AND it will fill you up.
Mmmm....That sounds good right now :}
Have a small serving and don't overindulge.
Small piece. It's all about portion control, not starvation.
eat some carrots with ranch dressing first or some kind of vegetable or a healthy food . then save a little room at the end and cut off a SMALL piece . so that u get the taste =]
take a 3 bite-size piece and have green salad with it
just eat a small piece. I've stayed slim my whole life by eating what I want. I just eat small portions, don't over eat and use sense in what you eat (ice cream, cakes, brownies, etc) I still eat these but not everyday. I don't believe in diets and it's worked for me.
Don't eat to much
Just have a small piece of lasagna and a salad.
Love your DAD..........homemade Lasagna is hard to resist, especially made with Fatherly Love! Go ahead and have a piece with a salad, but not after 7PM. Portion control is crucial, but the foods that you eat WITH them is also vital to ease in the digestion process and fat burning process. AND, what time you eat them can vary based on your activity level. Please don't pass this up...........just enjoy it with some added information! All my love to your Dad!

oh come on! it takes 3500 calories more then u burn(about 4700 calories in all) to gain weight...lasagna isnt that unhealthy either depending on what u make it with...a little peice wont hurt. hell, even a bowl of ice cream sometimes doesnt hurt at all either1 and neverstarve when trying to lose weight and eat atleast 1500 calories...and its better to eat some junk sometimes cuz if u are deprived, u will get a bad craving and really overeat nonstop and feel sick and horrible
Eat a small portion for dinner with salad or veg. As long as your dad was going to serve it for your dinner. Also eat slowly, no matter how yummy it is. It takes your body a little while to work out its full so if you are trying to lose weight slow eating is better because then you will feel full and stop before you eat too much. Not easy if you have a big family though-mine used to steal the food off my plate if they were done before I was!. And if you feel like you ate too much, take a walk, or do some other activity-that's important for weight loss too. Even washing the dishes might be good. Eat less, exercise more has always worked for me.
Good luck with being happy with your weight-but enjoying good food in moderation is not bad.
It's not about portion control or small servings! When will people get it into their heads!! You have to cut out your craving for this stuff. Suddenly or gradually, whichever you can.
It's about calorific intake & output. It's FAT that makes you FAT. Eat the lasagne if you want to run a few miles to work it off.
Otherwise have a salad, as much as you like, low fat dressing & lean meat. If you want carbs. eat fruit, again as much as you like.
Stick to that ,and I mean it, and you'll lose weight like you won't believe! Walk 5 roadmiles a day and your relatives won't recognise you this time next year.
Try drinking a bottle of water first. That way you're stomach will be somewhat full and you wont eat as much. Or eat some veggies first, something healthy!! Make sure both the veggies and the piece of lasagna aren't huge, remember your stomach is only the size of your fist so don't overstuff it! Don't just deny yourself because your craving will later make you overendulge! And most importantly, eat it early instead of right before going to bed, that way your body has time to digest it and burn it off instead of it just sitting there while you sleep!
have a small piece with a big glass of water and a salad on the side hold the dressing!!!!
