You can pan fry, but I wouldn't deep fry, It's not made for that.
Try canola oil,or veggie oil.
best not too. The smoking point for olive oil is very low and the strong taste does not lend itself well to frying
use something like peanut oil (watch out for people with allergies), corn oil, canola oil, rice bran oil is very good
good luck
do not deep fry with olive oil, it has a low smoke point. canola oil would be better. anything with a high smoke point.
i'm with annie g - if you want to go heart healthy, stick with canola oil. extra virgin olive oil is too heavy to deep fry and will smoke you out of the kitchen! i also use vegetable oil all the time when i deep fry won-tons.
olive oil is best in small amounts to fry up chicken cutlets, etc. in a cooking pan.
Do not deep fry with olive oil. Use vegetable, canola, peanut oil, or corn oil instead. Only pan fry with olive oil.
no
Yes...the Spanish do it all the time. You do not need to use Extra Virgin. Pure Filtered Olive Oil is good enough and less expensive.
No, not deep fry... smoke point is quick with olive oil. Would be ok for a saute, I usually add a little butter to balance the smoke point out.
It's 2 thick & tends to soak itnto the food 2 much. If u want a healthy oil that's lighter use grapeseed oil. It's thinner, & good for your skin. I use it it works well!!
don't do it
