What to bake or make for Valentines day?!
I want to make a couple of nice things to eat for the people in my office on Valentines day, there are quite a few singles so I thought I'd make heart shaped cookies & cupcakes with pink icing for everyone to share & then for the singles I was thinking of putting some heart shaped chocolate in red foil on there desk, to cheer them up. Is that a good idea? What other things can i bake or make to eat? There are about 40 people in my office so I need quite a few different things.
All ideas are appreciated. Thanks.

sounds like u need to start up a speed date at lunch with all thoose single people! just one big heart shaped cake for mid morning coffee break or afternoon tea. heart shaped shortbread biscuits with pipped cream and strawberries, drizzled with dark chocolate. enjoy.
a lovely and thoughtful gesture.
I think cupcakes and cookies are a GREAT idea! They are easy to make in large quanities and plus they will bring a smile to everyone's face............that is really thoughtful of you!
Hi.........Oh-Yes, heart shaped cookies are the ticket..Great Idea! How far are you willing to go here?? :-)) 40-people, that's like 1/2 a battery your feeding.. You can't please everyone here, just make a few dozen cookies, cup-cakes, maybe some brownies (my favorite).. That's it, no need to do anything more.. Your too sweet (no pun intended), you've got a good heart.. Did you ever make snow-flakes out of paper as a kid? I did, I also made hearts the same way, cut them and put a few good words on them..
Good Luck..:-))
The singles get heart shaped chocolates and the people who have someone get cookies and cupcakes?! I don't think heart shaped chocolates are going to cheer them up...what makes you think they are all sad?! Maybe they are happy being single.
I would make cookies and cupcakes for everyone. They don't have to be heart shaped or have pink icing. Make your heart shaped cookies, chocolate chip cookies, and cupcakes for everyone. I would think the singles would be offended if you gave them chocolates and they saw everyone else with cupcakes and cookies.
Why not fix a fruit tray with dip ,
a veggie tray with dip
You could also pick up a couple of bags of those little heart candy's and put them in a little cup for everyone to enjoy you can usually pick them up at a dollar store for very little and besides its not the cost its the thought that counts you could even pick up a pack of children's valentines to hand out that would be fun
i think that cookies, cupcakes, or anything from your heart will be great.
