How can I make homemade tea?!
Answers: The annual community women's tea party is coming up, and it's my turn to make the tea. Can I make homemade?
You can get various flavors from your local coffee shop, like Starbucks, etc., which will be "loose tea," or you can buy a variety pack of tea bags from the grocery store. You need to ask the person who had the tea last year for help. She will tell you exactly what to do. You might have to provide finger foods in addition to the tea. Use boiling water made from putting cold water in a pan or tea pot, and then after it boils, you can steep the tea bags or loose tea in a tea holder if it loose. ASK, ASK, ASK, the people who had the tea party before you, as this could be dangerous if you don't provide everything you are supposed to provide. And, ask your local coffee shop for help, or kitchen specialty shop at the mall. I live near Boulder, Colorado, and there is a Celestial Tea 'factory' here. There should be a toll-free number on the box or look it up on line, and call their tea shop to ask for advice. Make sure you buy sugar cubes as well as loose sugar, and milk and half and half.
not homemade, but i like vanilla chai tea with half milk and lots of sugar. everyone loves it, i make it for company a lot.
Try adding some herbs, if you know what I mean. Everyone will love it.
Sorry to see that you did not get the response to MAKING your own tea...
Simply get white tea leaves.. this is the mildest tea available.. and is almost clear in color...then add your flavours... Mint from the garden.. Thyme... Chammonmile flowers .. etc .. Good luck and hope asll goes well.Aslo brown sugar adds a total dofferent flavour when you have milk in your tea.. sort of a caramel flavour..
