"Chocolate" Cookies

2 sticks butter
2 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
2 tablespoons cocoa

375* oven, 9-11 minutes.

This is esentially Nestle's Chocolate Chip recipe sans chocolate chips, but I added the cocoa yesterday to my cookies, and they were very tasty! You might need to add a few dribbles of water to keep the dough moist, but it's totally up to you. Depends on how dry (or moist) of a cookie you like.

A butter pecan pound cake. Even without the pecans it will still taste buttery and of carmel due to using the brown sugar. Oh and since I am going out to family get together and then to the club, can you throw a cheesecake together for me? I have all the ingredients.

have you got a couple cans of fruit??

Make Quicky Cobbler

1 cup regular flour and
2 teaspoons baking powder or

1 cup self rising flour

1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 stick butter
1 cup sugar

Put butter in baking dish 9 x 13 in 350 oven.

Blend flour, salt and sugar in mixing bowl. Stir in milk.

Get melted butter baking dish out of oven. Pour batter in on top of the butter. Pour the 2 cans fruit over this, juice and all.

Bake 45 minutes to an hour at 350. when golden brown on top it is done. Cool a bit.

Serve with ice cream, whipped cream, cream, or just plain.

With peaches, sprinkle cloves and/or ginger on top
with pears, sprinkle cinnamon on top
with mixed fruit, sprinkle nutmeg on top
before baking.

I didn't see any eggs in your list. Got a question - do you have any cocoa powder? If you have cocoa powder (not the sweetened kind), you can make a Chocolate Mayonnaise cake (if you have mayonnaise) which will take the place of the eggs. Go to Google and type in Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake. There are 241 recipes there for that.

Hope that helps. Guys like chocolate.

I am hoping you forgot to mention you have eggs, if so try Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake. The recipe calls for dates (but, you don't need them). Regular milk is not a great substitute for evaporated milk, however if you take 1.5 cups of regular mild and SIMMER it down until you have 2/3 cups you should be fine.
