Answers: i sound really silly

These are fun....

Kool-Aid Sugar Cookies

Serves:Makes 4 dozen

2 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp. CALUMET Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine softened
1 envelope (2 qt.) KOOL-AID Sugar-Sweetened Soft Drink Mix any
flavor
1/4 cup sugar
2 eggs

MIX flour, baking powder and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, soft
drink mix and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed
until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture, beating
well after each addition.

DIVIDE dough into 2 equal portions; wrap each in plastic wrap.
Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm.

HEAT oven to 375°F.

ROLL out dough, 1/2 at a time, to 1/4- inch thickness on lightly
floured surface. Cut into desired shapes with lightly floured cookie
cutters. Place on ungreased cookie sheets 2 inches apart.

BAKE 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Remove
from cookie sheets. Cool on wire racks. Store in tightly covered
container.

Best-Ever Extra Tender Press Cookies

Makes 45 to 50 cookies

1/2 cup cornstarch
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 3/8 cups sifted flour
3/4 cup unsalted butter

Sift together. Mix butter into dry ingredients above until soft dough forms. Fill cookie press with dough, set at thick setting. Press onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 300 degrees (it's this low temperature that makes them tender) for about 20 minutes until edges are lightly browned.

For Chocolate Cookies: Substitute 1/2 cup powdered sugar plus 1/2 cup Hershey's instant hot cocoa mix instead of the 3/4 cup powdered sugar. This makes a more crunchy cookie.

For Lemon Cookies: Substitute 1/2 cup powdered sugar plus 1/4 cup Kool-Aid lemonade mix for the 3/4 cup powdered sugar. A tender cookie.

yeah!! it does sound silly, But!!!

Kool aid does a great job of adding some color and flavor to sugar cookie dough! You can also sprinkle the sugared kool aid on top of the cookies like you would sugar or cinnamon sugar.

I use kool aid to dye my wool yarns!! that is silly too!

Sure, You can add it to the list of ingredients for flavor and color. Just make sure it's the pre sweetened kind.

Yes. It will add color and flavor, but better yet, here is a great recipe for sugar cookies made with flavored Jello.

INGREDIENTS:
3/4 cup shortening
1/2 cup white sugar
1 (3 ounce) package fruit flavored Jello gelatin mix
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt

DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix thoroughly shortening, sugar, gelatin, eggs and vanilla. Blend in dry ingredients.
Roll dough into 3/4 inch balls. Place 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten each with the bottom of a glass dipped in sugar. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes. Let cool for 15 minutes.
