i like to melt mine on the stove. but you could microwave it to. best way to keep it warm would be using a crockpot.

It microwaves just fine. If you are serving the dip in a crock pot, just melt it in there.

Flame thrower.....

double broiler.

with a lil milk!! :) put it on a fondue pot.

Heat it up on the stove with a can of chili.

I add a little milk as it's melting in the microwave. Just before it's completely melted, add your favorite salsa. Comes out great!!

this is what im going to make.try this out.

Velveeta Chili Dip
Ingredients :
1 large block Velveeta cheese
1 can Hormel chili without beans
1 can RoTel chopped tomatoes and chilies
1 cup chopped green onions

Melt Velveeta cheese, stir frequently. Add the next remaining ingredients and continue to cook until mixture is warm. Serve with corn chips or tortilla chips.

*alternations/additions: you can even add some ground up beef.cooked ofcourse =))

have fun at superbowl.

I cut it into about 3/4" cubes and microwave it. I nuke it for a minute at a time, then stir it, then another minute, etc., until it's melted.

I cube mine and put it in the crockpot with the rest of the ingredients. If your recipe doesn't work out, I've included mine. It's a keeper!

Addictive Nacho Dip
Here's my no fail, always asked-for nacho dip. When it's heated through, put it on warm or low, or unplug for a short time if it's too hot. Everyone raves about this:

1 1/2 pounds ground beef, browned
1 can cream mushroom soup
1/4 cup butter
2 lb Velveeta, cubed
2 cups Pace Chunky Salsa, (medium is our favorite, mild or hot if you like)
3 Tbsp Chili Powder

Put all into crock pot. Cook on low 1-1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Serve with tortilla chips. Yummy!
