Anyone have recipes using foil packs?!


Question: My favorite foil pack dinner is Hobo Dinner where you layer hamburger patties with sliced potatoes, onion, carrots and seasonings, then wrap in foil and bake.

Any other ideas?

Chicken and Stuffing
Preheat oven to 400 deg
Divide equally between 6 separate foil packages.
Mix stuffing mix with 1-1/2 cups water, place in center of pack.
Layer chicken, mushrooms, and green peas on top of stuffing.
Mix soup (cream of chicken or mushroom or celery) with 1/4 cup of water and pour over contents of each pack.
Seal up package.
Place all in 15" x 10" x 1" baking pan. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. Remove from oven and let stand about 5 minutes.

Pizza In a Pack
Cut pita bread circle in half
Open pocket and spread 1-2 teaspoon of sauce inside
Fill pocket with pepperoni slices and mozzarella cheese
Seal up and put into 350 degree oven for 5 to 10 minutes or until cheese melts.

I like to take Idaho potatoes scrub them then quarter then use 1 stick of margarine 4 Tablespoon olive oil 2 bell pepper you choice of color but my favorite is the red ,2 large onion 1 clove of garlic.I fry the garlic cut the onion in circles not to thin and slice the pepper place all in a foil bag and bake 1hr to 1 hr15min in the oven at 425 degrees salt and pepper to taste or put this on the grill its so good if I have it I also put zucchini squash or yellow summer squash in there my family loves it and with something in the meat line you have your whole meal in a few min. Hope you will try this its good
