What are good foods on the go?!
Supper, breakfast, lunch, supper, breakfast, lunch, and supper and a few snacks. On very limited funds. I'm not sure if we even have a microwave in our room either. So stuff that requires no microwaving or ovens maybe only hot water
Answers: I'm going away this weekend and I need some good meals.

Pack a cooler with lunch meats, bread, cheese, onions, pickles, tom's etc, and other condiments. Also pack fruits, and some veggies such as mini carrots, celery, cheese sticks, apples, oranges, grapes etc... Also some hard boiled eggs, you can eat them for breakfast or mash them up for egg salad. You can pack milkor get some when you stop at different gas stations. Fried chicken is good too, buy or make it up and just remember to keep it on ice. Youcan eat it cold or if you get a room with an oven or microwave then you can heat it up. Make up some potato salad, or even pasta salad to go with lunch and dinner.
In another bag or box pack instant oatmeal, cereal, tuna fish. Buy some dry soup mixes for dinner, you can heat that in a microeave. Pack a few of your own bowls, spoons, forks, plates, sharp knife etc... so that you can make sure to have everything you need. If you need hot water for dry soup then remember that a lot of gas stations have a spout that puts out just hot water, you ccould get it for free or even just super cheep. Some places may even let youuse thier microwave if you are buying gas from them even if you didn't buy your microwavable item from that gas station.
Hope you have a fun trip.
just bring a bag of cereal and such and eat it. or bring some chips. they are great snacks. i hope this helped!
This tuna salad is great when you are in a hurry; very quick and easy to make. It tastes great every time! Serve with crackers, cheese, bread-- or just as is!
PREP TIME 5 Min
INGREDIENTS
1 (7 ounce) can solid white tuna packed in water, drained
1/4 cup creamy salad dressing (such as Miracle Whip?)
1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish, or to taste
DIRECTIONS
Mash tuna together with salad dressing and relish in a small bowl with a fork. Serve
Canned spaggetti and baked beans, no heat can still eat them cold.
potted meat, tuna fish, or vienna sausages. maybe some chips not a very good food but cheap and easy to carry lol ;)
When traveling i often find a grocery store with a deli. They have a large selection and usually a microwave. I also like to buy the roasted chickens. If i take bread, mayo, pickles and ice along in a cooler one of those can last all day. I know i used to be a trucker. good luck.
