Can I boil egg yolks without the white?!

Question: Yes you can - just seperate the raw egg-crack it open and pour the whole egg in your hand and let the white run away through your fingers, then throw the yolk into boiling water. Hope that helps.

Sounds like a tuff job. How are you going to get them to saty together? You could do it like a poached egg I suppose

i'm affraid to ask why but....yes you can. add 1 T wh. vinegar to the water and simmer, dont boil and be carefull when separating them .....crack eggs in a bowl and remove yolks with clean hands

oh just boil with it and pop out the yolk because i think it is virtually impossible to do it any other way.

the white is my fav part

I actually poach eggs and eat the yolk only. If you cook it long enough it would be the same as hard boiled and will come right out of the white. I guess you could separate the eggs first and poach it, but I think inside the white it would hold together better.
Use a saucepan about 1/2 full of water, bring to a boil and drop in the eggs. Then turn down the heat and cook them slowly. Good luck!

They will form yellowish strings, and cook very quickly.

I have never tried it but my guess is yes. Separate the eggs and drop the yolk in simmering water. I would think that if it is at a rolling boil that the action of the water will break the yolk. Let me know how it works.
