Potatoes, rice or noodles???!
Answers: Yesterday I took some stew meat and simmered it in some beef broth, and red wine with some mushrooms, garlic and onion. It's beef stew without the stuff. I just can't decide what to serve it over--rice, noodles, or baked/mashed potatoes. Your preference?
I love potatoes mashed and especially with some gravy from meat or stew with it. I also like the other choices, but my first choice is mashed potatoes
i would say some buttery noodles like egg noodles...
Potato, definitely. Rice would be second choice, and noodles wouldn't work.
Can I have some? I'm hungry :-)
noodles
Curly Egg Noodles sounds good to me right now...... or rice.
white rice
Over noodles! Sounds great.
Personally, I would serve it over potatoes - sounds wonderful.
White rice and a little Glass of the red wine.
I think it'd sound delightful with a bread bowl, personally.
Out of the three you've given us to choose from? Mashed potatoes-with the mixture in the middle, rather like a volcano. Add a few sprigs of herbs and voila-pretty AND yummy! =)
i would say serve it with sum cianide and do us all a favour...hahhahaha
wow that sound really good... you made me hungry i would have it with little red garlic potatoes or with steamed rice..
Rice potatoes & chicken.
If you are looking for a southern flavor i would go with mashed potatoes with sour cream and butter in it while you mash them up if you are looking for a comfort food i would doo the buttered egg noodles. and if you want to eat light but fill up i would do the rice. what ever you do it sounds really yummy!
enjoy
WILD RICE.....
I dont' know what consistency the sauce mixture is at- but for me- I would use that as a main by itself- and serve some roasted red potatoes on the side with some onions roasted along side.
I don't think the noodles would compliment as well- and might make the consistency seem off.
It sounds like a great dish.
Wide egg noodles will be fine, thank you. I will be there about 5. :)
homemade or frozen thick noodles by reems, mine are better.
I'll have rice,please!!
