use ground turkey meat instead of ground beef.

Try this, onions, mushrooms, season with garlic, put in some BBQ sauce, A-1 sauce, with hamburger meat and a little sausage, with some Italian bread crumbs. Broil it in the oven. yummmmmm

Preparation Time 10 minutes

Cooking Time 10 minutes

Ingredients (serves 4)

500g lean beef mince
1 egg white
1 tbs chopped fresh oregano leaves
Salt & freshly ground black pepper
125g (1/2 cup) 97% fat-free mayonnaise (Kraft brand)
1 tbs bought basil pesto (Barilla brand)
4 hamburger buns, split
1 180g pkt baby rocket leaves (Woolworths brand)
200g chargrilled capsicum, drained well on paper towel

Method

Combine mince, egg white and oregano in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Divide into 4 portions. Shape portions into 10cm-wide patties.

Heat a large non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the patties and cook for 4 minutes each side or until brown and just cooked through. Transfer to a plate and cover loosely with foil.

Combine mayonnaise and pesto in a small bowl.

Toast hamburger buns. Place bottom halves of the buns on serving plates. Top with rocket, capsicum and a patty. Add a dollop of pesto mayonnaise and top with remaining halves of each bun. Serve immediately

I add a dollop of peanut butter to my burgers and just about anything else i find in pantry/fridge

Use any recipe for meatloaf---just make it in patties instead of a loaf. Meatball recipes will work too. You can even mix up the ingrediants for porcupine meatballs, & cook that as a burger. Just because a recipe cooks it in one form doesn't mean you can't do something else with it. Cooking is supposed to be fun!!!

I mix mine up with some crumbled blue cheese! Yummy!

I add seafood sauce to the meat when mixing.
also try some different flavored shake & bake instead of bread crumbs.
