Frozen, refrigerated, refrozen?!

Question: I had some pork chops in the freezer which I placed in the refrigerator so they could thaw and be cooked the next night. They had been in the fridge about 2, maybe 3 hours, when we realized we had to be out the next couple of nights. I put them back in the freezer. Think it's ok? They still seemed frozen through.

As long as they are still semi frozen they will be fine. I worked for resturants for years and had to take food safety classes.

You will be okay the next time you pull them out to use them

They will be fine, they would not have thawed enough to matter.

They will be fine as long as you didnt let them thaw all the way or drop in temprature.

They are fine, nothing to worry about. But you need to make sure you don't do that constantly, because they will get freezer burn eventually.
