Im cooking hot dogs when i boil them they swell up,when i fry them they get 2 hard what should i DO?!

Question: Ah, the weenie. A perfect food, and you know why? Because it has two ends. Think about it. What do you remember most about something you eat? Right!! The first bite and the last, and the weenie is perfectly suited to that. Now, to enhance the experience, cut a 1/4 - 1/2" deep "X" into each end of the goomer before putting it on the grill or griddle. That'll promote the flow of juices to each split end, making the first and last bites more flavourful.
Add mustard (the king of condiments, the condiment of kings), chili and onions, and you have a great dog. I'd also recommend a frosty adult beverage on the side.

Just heat them up in a hot skillet, no water, keeping them rolling around. This makes them taste like a ball park hot dog. They are fully cooked; you are just heating them up.

Grill them!! You can buy a grill pan if you don't have an outdoor grill.

You can boil them enough to get them more moist and then fry them enough to brown them

You are probably boiling or frying them too long.

you are frying them too long... fry 'em only long enough to brown 'em around the edges

bake them

use the microwave

BBQ them!

grill em!

solve the problem eat them cold. lol

I just make them in the microwave!

bake them in the oven for about 15 minutes. take your fork and make just a few holes in them, and keep turning them. When they just start getting "black", that means they are crunchy and oh so good.

the quick ways is to run hot water over them for a minute or two

I like to microwave them. They taste almost grilled, but without the char.

when you put them in a pot to boil them take them out as soon as the water boils
