What's the best way to reheat pancakes?!
Answers: Obviously they're better fresh but just wondering whether you've re-heated them successfully. And how? I want to make some this afternoon but have them this evening.
Wrap them in a damp tea towel once you've done cooking them and this evening, put them in a warm oven to allow them to heat up slowly.
Microwave!
microwave or oven toaster
Wrap or cover them with a paper towel and put them in the microwave. One to three at a time wrapped in a towel for as little as 10 to 15 seconds should make them almost as fresh as just made.
Use REAL butter and REAL MAPLE syrup for BEST results!
Best to make them fresh or they will not taste as good. I mean how long does to take to wip a few up. Not long.
Microwave: Sprinkle a little water over the top and microwave for a few seconds.
Oven: Pop them in a pre-heated oven for 3-5mins
Stove: Pop one in a pan with a small drop of butter and let it fry for a minute or until piping hot.
I always pop them in the toaster. It's quick, easy, no-mess and they're not soggy. I don't recommend putting chocolate chip pancakes in the toaster, though...boy was THAT a disaster! hehehe
i wouldnt reheat a pancake...there easy enuff to make so just do it from fresh !!
