Good ideas to put on my pancakes?!

Question: I'm making pancakes with my 2 and a half year old son and want some fun, tasty fillings! Feel like experimenting with savoury as well as sweet...any ideas?

I'M SO EXCITED ABOUT PANCAKE DAY!!!

Anyway, golden syrup and lemon juice.
And jam.
And sugar.

Damnit, I was so unhealthy as a kid. By my 5th pancake, I couldn't decide what I wanted on it, so I had it all.

melt some mashmellows and chocolate...thats always good!!
we ate them all the time in St Lucia when i went away !!

the usual, sugar and lemon
my mum likes butter on hers
my sister likes chocolate spread on hers.
you can put cut up fruit, with perhaps a puree, maple syrup, cream, anything you fancy really. Enjoy

cook some sausage links, poke a wooden skewer in them, then dip in the batter and fry.

bolognaise and cheese and avocado is yummy

or for sweet try buterscotch or honey comb icecream and warmed up caramel fudge with icing sugar or cream

I add cooked bacon crumbles. It makes them savory and sweet and is delicious with butter and syrup. The kids love them that way!

Hot tip: I let them help me mix by setting the bowl on the open dishwasher door. Then, whatever mess they made gets cleaned up with the breakfast dishes. ;)

I am probably more a fan of sweet tasting pancakes over savoury ones. Strawberries or for that matter any berries, maple syrup, ice-cream, and whipped cream. Like I said they are my favourite.

Pancakes with vanilla/chocolate syrup/caramel and on top add whipped cream with chopped strawberries or any fruit you like..It is healthy and delicious!!!

lemon and sugar yummy yummy yummy. have fun!

For savoury pancakes try chicken, bacon, mushrooms with a white sauce. You can add any other vegetable that you like in with it. I often add sweetcorn.

For sweet pancakes try sliced banana, hot toffee sauce (or maple syrup) and either vanilla ice cream or fresh single cream.

But IMO you cannot beat the traditional lemon and sugar! It's making me feel hungry just thinking about it!

Blueberries...Yum!

Jam and ice cream

philadelphia cream cheese and your favorite jam!!! yum!!!

well i would go for the classics, or over the top like peanut butter and powdered sugar. maybe fruit, but then kids are not that big for healthy if there is sugar somewhere else.so get his ideas.ask him he's eating them.
