Is there anything good I can do with frozen pierogies...?!

Question: besides bake, boil or fry them?

Answers: besides bake, boil or fry them?

I just did this the other night. Boil them quickly and drain. Saute some onions, garlic, spinach, whatever you like. Add cream of mushroom or chicken soup and combine together. Add salt/pepper. Put the pierogi in the bottom of a greased casserole dish. Layer the vegey mixture over the top. Cover with parmesan or mozzarella and bake for 20 minutes at 350. You can make variations of this using something else to act like the soup; I make it a little different each time. It's good cold night comfort food.

if you have a foreman grill, you can spray the pierogies with nonstick cooking spray and grill them a few minutes - the filling may leak out, but the grill is easy to clean and the pierogies are pretty good when grilled! did this the first time when a planned barbeque was rained out - now it's become a regular side dish!

throw them at mailboxes while driving down the road

You could layer them in a casserole with onions , bacon, cheese and sour cream. But I guess you would still be baking them, so I'm not sure what you were asking.

maybe you could steam them like potstickers? Not sure how good they will turn out though.

I sautee them with green onions and mushrooms... yum!!

hello, I dont think there is much else you can do besides bake, boil or fry them.
I suggest to bake them in the oven, and top them with hot spagettie/marinara sauce for a more moist flavor

cook them with bacon and butter. bacon and butter make everything good.

I boil them and toss them with pesto. It's not authentic, but it's really good.
