Seven Layer Magic Bars

Makes about 36
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 14-oz. can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup butterscotch flavored chips
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/3 cups flaked coconut
1 cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350°, (325° for glass dish). Line a 13x9-inch baking pan with a sheet of foil, making sure to cover the sites well. Place the butter in the baking pan and melt it in the oven. Sprinkle crumbs over butter; pour condensed milk evenly on top of crumbs. Top with remaining ingredients in order listed; press down firmly with fork. Bake 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool. Chill if desired. Cut into bars. Store covered at room temperature.

my favorite is the nestle toll house original chocolate chip cookie recipe. if you want to look for it, just type that in.

My favorite is molasses cookies, but they don't call for chocolate chips.

You could make a ranger cookie. Take a basic chocolate chip cookie dough and add nuts, raisins, M&M's - whatever you like.

1 box Betty Crocker? Original Supreme brownie mix (with chocolate syrup pouch)
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup water
2 eggs
1 pouch Betty Crocker? chocolate chip cookie mix
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 egg
1 container Betty Crocker? Rich & Creamy chocolate frosting
1. Heat oven to 350oF. Grease bottom only of 13x9-inch pan. Make brownie mix as directed on box, using oil, water and 2 eggs. Spread in pan.
2. Make cookie mix as directed on pouch, using butter and 1 egg. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls evenly onto brownie batter; press down lightly.
3. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean. Cool completely, about 1 hour. Frost with frosting. For brownies, cut into 8 rows by 6 rows.

choco-oatmeal! use the disappearing oatmeal cookie recipe on the quaker container, but substitute choc chips for the raisins and add 2 tsp coconut extract in addition to the vanillla...an unplaceable, but pleasant hint to this mysterious cookie!

I normally am a plain chocolate chip lover, but these were great! They also have an extremely long name. :)

WHITE CHOCOLATE CRANBERRY-ORANGE OATMEAL COOKIES

1. 1 cup butter, softened
2. 1 1/2 cups sugar
3. 2 eggs
4. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
5. 2 cups all-purpose flour
6. 1 teaspoon baking powder
7. 1/2 teaspoon salt
8. 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
9. 2 cups quick-cooking oats
10. 1 cup raisins (I left these out...)
11. 1 cup coarsely chopped fresh or frozen cranberries
12. 1 tablespoon grated orange peel
13. 1 (12 ounce) package white chocolate chips

1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda; add to the creamed mixture. Stir in oats, raisins, cranberries and orange peel. Stir in vanilla chips.
2. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 in. apart onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 375 degrees F for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned. Cool on wire racks.
