put flower on the outside of the chicken, drop in fryer untill cooked

have one bowl with flour, one with egg, and one with breadcrumbs... dip the chicken in the flour, then the gg, then the breadcrumbs....then fry them at bout 430 degrees for 15 minutes and yum yum they will be perfect

There are some excellent ones at www.foodnetwork.com

Paula Dean has some good ones...there is a recipe search engine that is fantastic, you can type in the topic (fried chicken) or an ingredient you want to use (egg yolks for example).

Wash your chicken and pat dry. Dust your chicken with flour with added salt and black pepper. Drop the chicken pieces in the 350 degree F oil carefully and close the lid on the fryer. After about ten minutes the chicken will be golden brown and very crispy.
You might want to serve this with mashed potatoes and green beans of the blue lake variety.
Iced tea will finish the meal out.

coat your chicken pieces in a mixture of flour ,paprika, salt, and pepper, make sure your oil good and hot and fry for 30 to 40 mins.-that's it (some people like a little spicier mix for that add some cayenne to your flour mixture)

You can mix an egg with a little milk, in another bowl mix flour with some spices & salt & pepper, or crushed corn flakes or seasoned bread crumbs. dip the chicken in the milk mixture and then the flour mixture and coat evenly. Then deep fry!

They do have batter recipies if you prefer that.

Fried Chicken Fryer

Ingredients

1 chicken fryer (not frozen)
Seasonings (use injector-type seasoning for a more flavorful chicken)
Peanut oil (enough to cover chicken, minimum of three gallons)

Utensils:
24 qt. (or larger) Outdoor Gourmet aluminum pot and basket
Outdoor gas cooker
Outdoor Gourmet deep-fry thermometer
Outdoor Gourmet chicken stand and lifter
20 lb. propane tank

Preparation

Clean, rinse and dry chicken, inside and out.
Cover (or inject) the chicken, inside and out, with seasonings.

Remove basket or frying rack from pot and pour the peanut oil into the pot. Make sure there is enough oil to completely cover the chicken when it is immersed, but without overflowing the pot.

Tip: To determine the amount of oil needed, lower the chicken into the pot and cover with water. Remove the chicken and measure the amount of water. Use the same amount of oil in place of the water when frying the chicken.

Light burner and heat oil to 325 - 350 degrees Fahrenheit. When oil is hot enough, turn off burner, lower chicken into pot with basket or frying rack, relight burner. Wear mitts for protection and use both hands. Be careful not to splash the oil.

Cooking Directions

Fry about 3 1/2 minutes per pound of chicken, keeping temperature between 325 - 350 degrees Fahrenheit. When calculated time has passed, check the thigh joint. If it appears to be well-cooked, the chicken is ready.

Turn burner off, remove chicken from oil. Place your fried chicken on a thick layer of paper towels and allow to drain for approximately 10 minutes before serving.
