-- Parmesan Oven Fries Recipes

Ingredients:
1 1/2 pound baking potatoes, peeled
nonstick cooking spray
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 F.

Cut potatoes lengthwise into 1/4 inch thick slices, then cut the slices lengthwise into 1/4-inch-wide sticks. Place potatoes in a large bowl, lightly spray with nonstick cooking spray; toss to coat. Add the Parmesan, oregano, rosemary and pepper; toss again to coat thoroughly.

Transfer potatoes to two baking sheets; bake for 40 minutes, turning every 10 minutes, or until potatoes are golden brown and crisp. Place the fries on a platter, sprinkle with salt, and serve. Be sure to spread out the fries on the baking sheets so there's plenty of room for them to bake to a nice crispness.

i just but fries under boiler til crisp and just heat the chille and add the cheese...the easiest way...

1) Bake (or fry) your french fries 'till they are nice & crispy. Put on a large plate or platter.
2) Pour hot chili (canned or homemade) over the fries.
3) Pour cheese over the chili. (My family prefers melted Velveeta over shredded- if your having chili cheese fries you really don't care about the calories anyway, right!)
4) Optional- Top with Onion if you like
5) Open a cold beer (if you're of age!) & enjoy with the chili-cheese fries along with some family & friends! Yummmm!

use frozen fries(krinkle kind) bake when done dump on desired amount of no bean chili, and shredded cheese then melt cheese.top with onions and jalapenoes
