Caramalised onions for curry?!

Question: hi, I wonder if anyone can tell me should you liquidize the caramalised onions for curry, I have been told it is much better.

I make a large curry base then freeze it in packs, I would be interested if you tried liquidizing it.

Onions become foamy when liquidized.
Does not work like you want it to work out....
Just slice them thinly, works best

It depoends on how you like your curry. I agree that it is a very effective way of getting the flavor of onions yet allowing the sauce to remain smooth. Some curries (like Beef Rendang) use liquidized raw onion in the cooking process....yummy!
