i want a million dollars to come outta my crock pot.
can some one help me w/ that?

Put your roast in the crock pot, put an envelope of onion soup mix on the roast and a can of cream of chicken soup and 1/2 can of water, cook on high for 6-8 hours, it will be so so tender and you can put vegetables in about 1 hour before you want to eat, if you wish, you can eat this over rice, pasta or potatoes, if you want, it makes great gravy.

put your roast in the crock pot and about a half a cup of water.. salt and pepper.. if you can.. go to the store and get a packet of dry onion soup mix.. it gives a great flavor to the roast... put on low for the day while you are gone..

I simply toss in the roast, with one package of regular onion soup mix and water. I dont add anything else and it I cook it on low for about the first 4 hours then switch to high for the last hour or so. The roast will fall to pieces and be so tender. I then use the remaining liquid and stir in corn starch to make a quick and simple gravy for some mashed taters!
Easy, simple and doesnt take any additional ingredients aside from the roast and soup mix.

I don't have the recipe with me so I will tell it to you from memory.

Chop up big pieces of Onion and place it on bottom of Crockpot. Next Dice up Potato and place a layer on top of Onions. Then Place Roast in Crockpot. Add the veggies and rest of Potatoes all around the Roast. Pour a can of Cream of Mushroom soup over top. Salt/Pepper to taste. Cook on low 8-10hrs.

*** Can I make a suggestion for next time? Go to a store and buy the cookbook called "Fix it and forget it" It is the most AMAZING Crockpot cookbook there is! I received it as a wedding gift and It has everything you can imagine to cook in a crockpot!! It has sooo many different variations of each recipe that it makes cooking interesting and fun!! Just a tip! Have a good day!!
