Mario Batali was recently on Rachael Rays talk show telling the audience about a free downloadable cookbook online. It is a conglameratio of Mario, several celebrities including Stanley Tucci and Marisa Tomei to Chris Daughtry and their recipes. Every cookbook that is downloaded is a dollar that Barilla pasta will donate to your local foodbank or shelter or to City Harvest Food bank. I just downloaded it this morning and it looks like it has some wonderful recipes in it.
It's called Celebrity Italian cookbook and you can find it at
www.celebrityitaliantable.com. You can download the cookbook and print it out or save it online. Debra Messing it in it, as well as Natalie Portman and all celebrities worked with Mario to put this cookbook together. If nothing else its free, and its helping a charitable organization like City Harvest feed the hungry.

saute spinach purple onions and garlic add a little lemon juice. Put it over vermicelli and top with feta cheese. Its great hot and cold

I do this with leftover spagetti and sauce. Mix it together with a about 1/4 c. each ricotta cheese, parm cheese and mozz cheese and an egg. Then add about 2 cups of fillings. Generally I use about 1/2 c. quartered mushrooms, 1/2 cubed zucchini and 1 c. sliced chicken sausage. Add your sauce or tomatoes sparingly. You want it to be a little dry, your veggies are going to let off some good liquids. Put this in a greased baking dish. Bake on 400 covered for about 20 minutes, then uncover and top with a little more parm cheese and bake for another 10 minutes. Let it cool for about 5 minutes and serve.

Use rotini pasta, cook it first, put in baking dish with pasta sauce, mozzerella chese, black olives, diced onions, green peppers (mushrooms if you want) and bake!!! YUM YUM

You can put some cooked ground beef or cooked chicken in it also
