you can triple everything and just do it at the same time also you could substitute the water for some canned crushed pineapple its supposed to make it extra moist by bf just did it said it turned out pretty good!

mmmm....... now I want cake!

You can make them all at once (provided they're the same kind), just make sure you triple correctly and that the bowl is big enough.

One box will make two 9" round layers or one sheet cake (about 18"x10").

Good luck! Remember to get enough frosting, too!

I decorate cakes for a living at work and out of my home, when I am making a large cake requiring 2 or more mixes, I mix them at the same time. The only reason you could not do this depends on the size of your mixing bowl, you want to make sure the bowl is large enough for that amount of batter. I own an industrial sized kitchen aid mixer and I still would not mix more than 3 mixes at the same time.

Well you can always double the batter. As far as tripple, it might be hard to mix everything just right. You would add, what it requires. If it is easier for you, just add one box, all the ingredients. Then add box two, then all the ingred. Box three, add. You get the point. That way you are sure to get all the Oil, eggs and water in that you need. Good Luck!

I would add to this, if you're making 3 boxes at a time
-Before- you start mixing, decide which pans you'll be using, and make sure that they'll all fit in the oven at the same time and the door will close
