three ounces is about the palm of your hand.

a more accurate way to measure is to buy a food scale.

There are 16 solid ounces in a pound.

scale-ounces,pounds,etc they are all the same liquid or solid. 16 oz weighs a pound..

It would need to be weighed.on a scale.

Estimating volume - a small can of tuna is 6 oz.

3 oz. is a small portion, a restaurant portion is roughly 4 to 6 oz. on fish. Get a small scale, they're cheap.

If you don't have a scale and need to quickly find out how many ounces is in solid food, use a measuring cup that has ounces on it and fill it with a little bit of water. Put chopped pieces of meat in a plastic ziploc baggie and close the bag, being sure to push all the air out. Put the bag in the water, and however much the water rises, that is how many ounces you have.

You need a kitchen scale to measure the weight of the fish. Even the little ones that they sell in the kitchen section in a WalMart would be just fine and a worthwhile investment if you're serious.

3oz of meat or fish is about the size of a deck of playing cards. It's a small portion.

It sounds like a breaded fish since regular fish shouldn't have any carbs, just protein and a little fat.

If it's in a box you can look at how many total carbs are in the box by multiplying the serving size time the number of servings per box, then figure out how many servings you would want out of the box.
