Is it okay to cook a frozen chicken in the slow cooker?!
1. Can you slow cook a frozen chicken?
I have heard that you shouldnt slow cook a small whole frozen chicken. I put in one in my slow cooker and let it cook for 3 hours and have put it on high for the last hour and a half. Will I get sick?
2. Heard you cant put veges with chicken in the cooker. I put frozen beans in with the above. Is true?
Please let me know.

First of all I think that you probably should have thawed it, because poultry does not always cook evenly. I did this once, and the breast was done, but the dark areas around the joints of the bird were still bloody. If you have a thawed bird, you can throw as many veggies in with it as you like. They might be a little mushy in the slow cooker however.
I would not.

I wouldn't do that...i would thaw it first...due the bacteria that can form ..not a good thing.
And never mix anything with raw chicken in a Crock Pot...
now if you were cooking this in the oven...that would be different...the oven cooks faster than the Crock Pot.
I have never cooked a whole frozen chicken in a slow cooker but I do cook frozen boneless chicken breasts in the slow cooker and they turn out great. I put a little chicken bouillon in with a little water, add a little salt and pepper, and let them cook away. They're done within a couple of hours. Quite tasty.
A frozen whole chicken will not cook well.Dark meat will be undercooked. The broth will be bloody and any vegetables added could absorbe the broth, not healthy. Try cooking chicken breast instead.
