Can I make my meringue cold?!

Question: Is it possible to make meringue and then somehow chill it without it turning back into a liquid? The meringue isn't baked...I just want the plain meringue with egg whites and sugar.

You might get away with it if you added a little Knox gelatin at the start. Also, there is a product out there that is a powder, I can't remember the name of it right now, I think maybe whipit? Anyway, it is a stabilizer, and it does that I think. You would have to experiment with both and see what happens. Sorry I couldn't be more help, Good Luck!
