Easy Chocolate Cake
Ingredients:
3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
6 tablespoons cocoa
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups water
3/4 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 teaspoons vanilla

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix dry ingredients first. Once the mixture is even, mix in wet ingredients. Continue mixing until you obtain an even batter (no lumps). Pour into a cake pan and bake for approximately 40 minutes. I recommend topping the cake with Chocolate Frosting.

Serves: 12
Preparation time: 15 min

Chocolate Frosting
Ingredients:
1 cup margarine
4 cups powdered sugar (make your own if you want - blend sugar and cornstarch)
2 tablespoon vanilla
4 tablespoon soy milk
1/2 cup cocoa powder (or more)
dash of salt

Directions:
Margin should be at room temperature when being placed in bowl. Blend until mushy, and then add vegan powdered sugar, salt, vanilla, chocolate and soymilk. You can add in more soymilk to make it a bit smoother but not too much. Spread on cake and enjoy.

Serves: 1 cake
Preparation time: 10 min

Jello Cake
Get a box of white cake mix and make it according to the instructions. Once it is cool poke it all over with a fork. Mix a cup of hot water and a box of Jello and pour it over the cake. Refrigerate it and cover with Cool Whip once you are ready to serve it. Yum.

brownies or ice cream

i think that rice krispie treats are as easy as you can get and everyone seems to love them.

Prep Time
10 minutes
Total Time
10 minutes
Servings
12
Ingredients
3 tablespoons margarine or butter
1 (10 oz.) package regular marshmallows
- or -
4 cups mini marshmallows
6 cups Rice Krispies?

Directions
1. Melt margarine in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.

2. Add KELLOGG'S RICE KRISPIES cereal. Stir until well coated.

3. Using buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture evenly into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan coated with cooking spray. Cut into 2-inch squares when cool. Best if served the same day.

A favorite over here. Its hokey, but everyone loves it anyway!...

Make a two layer cake mix (White or yellow or lemon)
When cool, pierce one layer (still in the pan) 100 times with a fork. Pour over one (complimentary flavor) prepared package of jello. Refrigerate.
When cool and set, (I sprinkle with coconut - some do not) top with whipped topping of choice. I use CoolWip.
Easy party cake! (And theres another you can freeze for next weekend...)

buy it already mixed in a box at the store. add water & eggs as most boxes say.

but if you want it from scratch....
