How can I make my own dill pickles?!

Cucumbers. Put them in a mason jar. Add vinegar and Dill. Thats it. Leave it for a week or so before you try them so the flavor gets to them.

1 1/2 - 2 quarts water
3/4 cup pickling salt
1-2 heads of dill per quart
1 clove garlic (per jar)
1 hot red pepper (per jar)

Bring vinegar, water and salt to a boil.
Wash cucumbers well in running cold water. Discard any with bruised skins.

Wash and sterilize jars and rings before use. Bring lids to a simmer for 1 minute in a small saucepan.

To each jar which has been well-packed with cucumbers, add 1 clove garlic and 1 red pepper.

Pour boiling hot vinegar solution over cucumbers in jars. Seal. Process in boiling water bath 5 minutes.

eazy dill pickle

11 cups filtered water
5 cups white vineger
1 cup pickling salt
12lbs pickling cucumbers, 5 inches in length is the best.
9 heads fresh green dill
18 cloves garlic
18 small dries chilli pepper.

- Scrub the cucumbers and soak in coad water for overnight for several 4-5 hours.
-Slice the cucumber lengthwise into quarters.
- Steriliize quart jars, rings and caps.
- Bring water, vineger and salt to the boil.
- boil 10 minutes
- Pack cucumber into jars within 1/2" of top.
- Place 2 garlic, 1 dill head, and 2 red peppers in each jar.
- Cover with the brine and seal.
- Process for 10 minutes.
