How do you cook a fish, Salmon in particular...?!

Question: I pan sear mine....

I get a freshly cut 6oz fillet coat with olive oil then season it with sea salt, cracked pepper, and smoked paprika.

Then I heat pan on med high coated with olive oil and once hot I place my fillet skin side down until the skin lightly begins to smoke then remove my pan from the heat and flip the fillet.

I let the fillet sit for about 2 min while i remove the skin w/a fine paring knife and then plate. To finish I sprinkle it with thyme and a side of buttered broccoli.

Believe it or not, in the top shelf of the dishwasher! Just add your particular seasoning or use the one that Ellen suggested and double wrap the Salmon in aluminum foil. Place it on the top shelf of your dishwasher (do not try to wash dishes in the dishwasher at the same time) and add a cup of white vinegar to the bottom of the unit. Turn the dishwasher on the normal cycle with the drying unit engaged. That way, you are not only cooking your Salmon but also cleaning your dishwasher at the same time. When the dishwasher is done, remove your Salmon "package" and serve. Not only will the Salmon be fully cooked, it will literary fall off the bones.

Steamed, baked, broiled, wrapped in foil, packed in herbs, poached with wine. All good. As long as the fish is really fresh.
