So i'm making english muffin pizzas....?!

Question: what do I use for the sauce?
Can I just use canned tomato sauce?
Is that what's on there?
Or paste?
SO CONFUSED.

You can use spaghetti sauce or the little jars of pizza sauce sold by the pizza kit mixes. If you don't have this then use tomato sauce and doctor it up with garlic, basil and italian seasoning. Good luck!

You can use Ragu (some great flavor you love), including Alfredo for your base! Or, be really daring, go for Picante sauce!

Ummmmm

ITS SIMPLE REALLY....
Lay split English muffins on paper plate. Pour pizza sauce over muffins, enough to cover them. Sprinkle cheese on top. Cook on medium high in the microwave for 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted.

i think ur supposed to use tomato puree for the pizza base

Ummm... english muffin pizzas. It is one of the world's most perfect foods. I don't think you can really screw them up, so whatever you have on hand is great. I usually buy a jar of pizza sauce, I think its in the same section as the spaghetti sauces. But, you could just use plain tomato sauce and add lots of seasonings, like oregano, S&P, garlic powder...Then top with cheese and veggies (onion, peppers, shrooms) or ham, pepperoni, hamburger...whatever. I usually put some olive oil on them before anything too, just for more flavor.

yeah use the tomatoe sauce

I buy pizza sauce for them, top with your favorite toppings and I bake mine at 375.

You can use tomato sauce and add some italian seasoning, salt and pepper, etc. In a pinch you can use catsup. (I know some people will say 'yuck', but try it -- you might like it).
