When making toast do I put the butter on first and then toast it?!
Answers: i want to surprise her in the morning.
Once Upon A Time......When I was a little girl....I tried to "Put the butter on the bread first , then put it in toaster",,Guess what happened...LOL>>I almost "Burnt the House down" w/ toaster goin first"...LOL
Sooooo, I do feel it is better to "toast the piece of bread first...in toaster, then apply the butter..."..Voila, (AND HOPEFULLY W/ YOUR LUCK, YOU WONT BURN THE HOUSE DOWN LIKE I ALMOST!!);)
no, put it on as soon as it comes out to achieve best butter melting.
Toast it first and then butter it.
Not as silly as it sounds. I've done, tastes good. Someone should invent toast already buttered when you take it out of the bag. Save heaps of time in the mornings.
Toast First then Butter
Well... it depends what kind of toaster you have!
If you have a oven toaster then it would be so yummy if you put the butter on the toast first and then toast it! Otherwise, it doesn't really matter... just toast it and put the butter on it quickly to melt! :)
If you butter the bread first, it WILL toast the non buttered side but someone is going to be pissed at the mess in the toaster.
I used to make my toast that way till my mom made me clean the toaster.
Toast the bread first.
Also, let some butter set out at room temperature for the night so it will be soft and spread easily in the morning.
What kind of loser doesn't know how to make toast???
Nice thot!!! Its the thot that is important not the toast!!!!
toast it, then put the butter on when it's still warm to get it all melty. mmm then i'd also put jelly over that. or cinnamon & sugar
You will surprise her ...... Butter on the bread before toasting ! You will have a kitchen full of fumes and nothing but burnt butter on sloppy bread portions. ( toast , then Butter ) Take her out for breakfast and next time you have breakfast from home offer some help and watch how its done . But Hey.... if you want to cook her breakfast in the first place I am sure your going to win her heart . Happy Cooking !
Do you have a smoke detector?
If so then you will most certainly "surprise her in the morning" if she gets woken up by the smoke detector when the butter burns. :D
Buttered bread is the beginning of a WONDERFUL treat called "Fry Bread" toast. Very lIghtly butter one side of the sliced bread - grill butter-side-down in a preheated fry pan. Brown only one side of the bread (the delicious toasty smell of browned butter is delightful!) LIghtly drizel with honey, sugared cinamon, or a light jelly glaze - and wolf 'em down hot, straight from the grill. I've had grown men begging around a campfire gobbling up loaves of "Fry Bread" as fast as I could make it, and wanting more!
Lightly smear the butter before toasting then put another smear on as soon as toasted
or
make
INGREDIENTS
2 slices white bread
2 teaspoons butter or margarine
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
DIRECTIONS
Use a toaster to toast the bread to desired darkness. Spread butter or margarine onto one side of each slice. In a cup or small bowl, stir together the sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle generously over hot buttered toast
A way I like to make special toast is to butter it up and then FRY it.
Make sure you get the butter right to the edge, turn on your frying pan, use butter as your 'oil' and fry both sides.
Really yummy, and a little different to plain old toast!
You can also add your favourite spread once you have fried the toast.
Right after. Have a plate with assortment of jelly, honey.
Maybe some fresh fruit,and coffee.
You can always get take out from a breakfast food place, like pancakes, waffles, french toast from a local eatery.
it depends on what u want but i suggest u toast it first then put the butter so it will melt
Yep!!!...that will surprise her alright!!!...Normally you toast the bread then spread it with butter!...however!...Italian 'bruschetta'...involves lightly toasting a slice of ciabatta bread which has been pre-drizzled with olive oil...then rubbing a fresh garlic clove over it,and topping it with a fresh tomatoe sauce and sprinked with fresh torn basil leaves!...or fried bread with goes with a full English breakfast...and is usually fried in the left over bacon fat!...personally I always think that a drink before and a cigarette after!...are the 2 best things in the world...and forget the food???...
Here some simple tips for u ...
If you'r using...
1. Pop-out toaster - don't.. But u will really surprise her, cause you're burn on fire.
2. Toaster Oven or sandwish maker - yes.. it's taste good... now you'll surprise her with good breakfirst.
