I need a recipe for a dip that I can server with cucumbers, carrots and bell pepper as an appetizer. Any Ideas!

Question: Hi, does anyone know a good recipe for a dip to server with slices of cucumber, carrots and bell pepper?

They usually server that in restaurants, its white and it has a garlic flavour. What is that!

Thanks

- When cool enought to handle, separate the garlic clove and pell. Place on the chopping board and sprinkle with salt. Mash the garlic with fork until pureed.
- Place the garlic in large bowl and stir in the mayonnaise, yogurt and mustard. Mix well.
- Check the seasoning, adding more salt and pepper to taste. Cover and chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

mayo, cheese, garlic, pepper, salt

The one I use is Uncle Dan's dip mix, buy it at the local grocery and mix according to directions on package - yummy.

I use a sour cream dip that I make. Use 1- 8oz container sour cream, add a couple tablespoons full of snipped chives or a couple green onions thin sliced both white and green parts, add salt & ground pepper and a dash (less than 1-teaspoon)of worstershire sauce. Stir and put in fridge to meld flavors about 30 min will do. Be preparred to make more! You can use other spices as well, so you can tie it to what ever you are having for a main course. I've used garlic salt but you can always use fine diced garlic. Enjoy

Take Italian dressing and Miracle whip and whisk then together.

This is my own recipe, it's delicious and everyone loves it.

Creamy Onion Dip

1 package cream cheese, softened
2 cups miracle whip
1 tablespoon sour cream
dash of salt and pepper
1 medium onion, diced into very small pieces
1/3 cup of oil (olive oil preferred)
Zesty Italian Dressing

In about 1/3 cup of oil, fry the onion on medium heat. Cover it to let it steam and therefore, leaving the onion soft (you don't want to brown the onion, colour does not matter here). After the onion is soft, turn off the heat and add 3 tablespoons of zesty Italian Dressing, mix together with the onions and let it cool. In bowl, mix cream cheese, miracle whip, sour cream, salt/pepper. Once onions are completely cooled, incorporate them into the bowl. Mix well. Try it to see if it has enough "kick" to it, if not, add a tablespoon at a time of the Italian Dressing.

This is a hit in our family - enjoy!
