Here's a creative sandwich. Take a slice of bread - cut off the crust - roll it flat with a rolling pin. Spread a little mayonnaise and mustard on it. Put some of your meat on it - to make a thin layer. Add a layer of lettuce and cheese - again thin layers (remove the ribs from the lettuce). Then roll it up like you would a cinnamon roll, stick toothpicks in it to hold it together and slice it into circles (with a toothpick in each). Put it on a place with a leaf of lettuce on the side and a slice of tomato on top of it. My grandmother used to make those. You can even leave out the lettuce and once it's rolled, zap it in the microwave to melt the cheese before you slice it.
enjoy!
dunno
thats hot. I gotta try it
Make a grilled sandwich from any meat plus cheese. When its done, add tomato & lettuce between layers.
If you have a toaster oven or can use the broiler, make the sandwiches open faced. Put your condiment on the bread, layer meat and cheese and brown lightly for a few minutes in the oven. It will be a change from the standard.
Well you have a lot of options, if you happen to have any dried herbs around like oregano or dried basil, those are also good to add to your sandwich on top of the meat. They do it the restaurant "Subway" You could do bread (toasted), cheese, tomato, lettace, any of the meats you suggested, and mustard. That is always a good option.
just do ur typical ham/turkey sandwich w/mayo, cheese, maybe mustard, matos, & lettuce. seems like itd be pretty selfexplanatory...
One idea would be use some turkey and roast beef and layer with lightly salted tomato, lettuce and cheese choose a condiment and heat or not. You could even toast the bread first. Of course this works best with the deli sliced meats but the normal stuff is just fine you just use less of it. Enjoy.
knuckle sand witch is good, one of Al Capone's favorite.
Toast the bread, butter it, then put the ingredients on and broil it...make a hot sandwich...fry some onions up too...especially good with roast beef and swiss (with mustard) but I'm sure the turkey would be good hot too.
Got a toaster oven? Shove it all in there! LOL
Mayo & ketchup on lightly toasted bread
a combination of your meats (ham/turkey/roast beef) or a strip of each.
cheese
sprinkle a little salt and pepper
add lettuce and tomato.
Sounds like a tasty, hearty sammich to me!
Cut meat & salad vegetables up and mix up into a salad with mayonnaise and a little mustard to spice it up. If you like it, dice some celery in for crunch. Spoon it on toasted bread to make the sandwiches.
Toasted split bagels or toasted sour dough English muffins make delicious sandwiches.
