Salmon sauce and spaghetti?!

Question: Well I already know how to make a salmon sauce and spaghetti. But I want to make it something extra special since my dad is coming back after a month. My sauce basically consists of creme fraiche, garlic, smokes salmon, tomato, and salt and pepper. What can I add to make it especially interesting. And what can I serve along with it?

You could try some chipotle pepper...it's a smoked chili that would probably go well with the smoked salmon, and would ad a little kick.

Parsley, shallots, maybe garnish with some fresh cilantro. any of those may work for you. a lime or lemon wedge could brighten the flavor.

Maybe try a whole wheat pasta.

It sounds delicious, I would just serve it with a nice fresh green salad, and some fresh garlic bread.

i think it would be especially pretty served on pasta shells instead of regular spaghetti pasta.

GREAT bread with an olive oil dip ( with seasoning or balsamic vinegar) as an appetizer is tasty, and fun, and pretty, and a good course for calming down, relaxing, talking.

fresh parsley or Italian parsley sprinkled around the edges of the plate would be pretty.

Try using garlic salt instead of salt, pinch of sugar, use fresh ground pepper (I prefer larger grind pepper), make sure not to over cook the salmon (juicy is better), top with freshly chopped cilantro.

You could add a bit of dill for some extra taste. Dill always goes well with salmon. And just before serving it you could sprinkle some parsley as a garnish. (And a glass of your dad's favourite white wine) ;)

I would add capers to the sauce...they go fantastic with salmon.

I would serve one of theses: roasted asparagus, green bean almondine, sauteed mushrooms in butter and white wine....

hope this is a wonderful reunion......
